It felt like summer today and it was most welcome 😊. (Except for the blackflies…)
I had a few things on my to-do list I wanted to get done today and I’m happy to say I got them done.
One was to get my garden planted. √ that!

I’m trying something new this year…one foot gardening. Now, I skipped using a garden box and went straight for the “in the ground” approach. Fingers crossed it works. My plan was to have two gardens this size, one for veggies and one for a herbal tea garden. I needed to scale back for now and will combine the two in this garden. I had a few seedings I started in early spring and the rest was seed. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow, so perfect timing!
Next on the garden front will be something with sunflowers. I have a few ideas percolating. Covid-19 is making it tricky to get the supplies I need and in a timely manner. I look forward to the day I can walk into a store, browse and purchase what I need and want. Although some stores are open, I just don’t feel safe going yet. Boy, do I miss shopping for annuals and filling my garden with colours!
