Today was an awesome summer-like day. There was a constant wind which kept the blackflies away and allowed me to get some things done without getting bit!

Our cherry and plum trees are full of blossoms and just stunning!

I took quite a few pictures of the blossoms!

Early this evening, I sat on the veranda to watch the birds. The blackflies have been so bad I haven’t sat out at all the last few days and have missed the birds. I ran out of food almost two weeks ago so the feeders have been quiet lately. Fingers crossed my order is ready soon!

A chickadee flew in for a visit, as did a yellow finch and a hummingbird. I saw plenty of robin’s, seagulls, a few grackles and, the biggest surprise, was a Rose-breasted grosbeak that flew into a nearby tree!
