Happy Groundhog Day! Looks like spring will come when it comes ๐Ÿ˜‰

Today is day one of my weekly bird count. Not a lot of action around the feeders so hoping for more tomorrow. I did have a few very cute blue jays, which brings me to my photo of the day.

I can’t decide which pose should make the daily photo. Let me know which you prefer.

1. The dance move pose
2. The stern look pose
3. I’m rocking it pose
4. This is my best side pose

Today’s painting comes from cleaning up my palette. Pinks and greens with a little grey added in.

  1. Those are absolutely gorgeous photos!
I absolutely adore blue jays- I wonder what would happen if you could create the exact blue at the tipsof their wings? (just a random question- I’ve always loved the colors Nature messily splatters everywhere, and can’t help but wonder if there was some amazing way to filter out the dazzling silver of the stars, or the soft pink of a cherry blossom, or perhaps the garish orange of a sunset and store them all in little jars, just like paint.
    Sorry for that rant.)

    1. You put that very poetically. It’s the colours in nature that grab my attention, calling me to capture them.
You have given me an idea to try to find a way to filter some of those colours or maybe paint them so thank you for that!
