Welcome to a new month, and the shortest at that!
I started my morning with breakfast on the go, enjoying the light snowfall and cold fresh air. Followed by a walk in old Town to soak up the ambience of this beautiful city.
How can you not smile at this guy. His smile is contagious!!!
I took a time out to enjoy the moment and was rewarded by a visit from some birds, along with a local store owner who closed her store for several moments so she could feed the birds. (Wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t download the photos of the birds yet and I’m on the train on my way home… Maybe later. In the meantime, here’s a photo of the cozy area I was sitting at when they arrived in a tree next to me.
Back to the hotel to paint and pack before checking out at noon. The lighting was still not great so I moved to the window sill and painted there. Not sure what to paint, I looked outside and saw the clock face. I think it’s the Canada Post building but am not positive.
I’m on my way home. What a great weekend in vieux Québec!
