Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there, with us and with us in spirit.
Another hot one today. I tried to accomplish a few things but it was just too darn hot. Giving up, I put on my bathing suit and walked down to the river for a swim. First time this year and what a treat!

The water was perfect. Not cold, not hot, just right. Now, the clay and weeds I have to walk through to get in is another story 😉
We both had an ice cream craving which soon found us standing in line at Dairy Queen. Not too many people for ice cream. The line for ice cream cakes however snaked around the building!
