The morning started out dark…stormy dark. Very picturesque! Thunder and lightning. Rain. Perfect for a training day at home.

I went for a walk around the yard at noon and down to th river. Something startled me…I could see something moving in the grass bit couldn’t make it out. A lizard came to mind because I saw a bit of brown and it moved like it. But we don’t have lizards here! I followed it…when I could see it…and realized it was a…
I crouched down to get a photo and would lose him as he blended in so well with his surroundings! Eventually I managed to get the shot!
Painting of the day
I have a painting in mind that i’d like to do but it’s going to take a bit of time…which needs to be planned or kept for a weekend. I thought I’d give it a shot after work, when I had a bit more energy, but…I managed to fill that time with plenty of errands and ran out of energy. So, I went into tonight’s painting with no expectations, open for whatever. When I look at the final result, I smile. This is my kind of painting…one I will hang up and smile every time I see it!
