Yesterday, I placed an order with Amazon for two items. One minute later, I received an email notifying me my item had shipped. One minute after that I received another email notifying me that the second item had also shipped. That’s incredibly fast, even for Amazon!

Today was full of blue skies and sunshine.

I stopped at Richie Feed and Seed tonight for bird seed. The sky was clear, the moon bright and I was able to see Saturn and Jupiter. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see them too!

Oh happy sunny day

Thursday, 17 December 2020

I sat down to type this and quickly jumped up again, grabbing my phone to capture the sunset. The sunset…it’s been so long since we’ve had one.

After taking the shot, I waited a bit – bare feet in crocs and no jacket, mitts or hat – for Jupiter to appear. And, just like someone flicked a switch, it appeared from nothing. I took a picture, ran back inside for a bit, then back outside to wait for Saturn to appear. Again, just like ‘that’ it appeared. I took a picture, noting they were much closer than earlier this week. Only four days to go before the conjunction!
