After days of cloudy skies, there is just something so sweet about waking up to a blue sky. Even sweeter when the sun is shining!

I walked around the yard today, down the river, and noticed how the yellow flowers are all out blooming today. First were my daffodils, then the flowers I don’t know what they’re actually called but I call them “May flower wannabe’s” because their leaves look similar to May flowers; and then there were the dandelions.
My winter seedlings survived the cold spell, as did everything else. The garlic looks good, the rose bush is still growing, the tulips are about to open up. Feeling blessed!
And we had two visitors to the backyard this afternoon. These guys don’t usually visit until late June, early July. The picture is not the greatest but I didn’t want to disturb them. It would have been an awesome shot though, with them around the daffodils!

Looking forward to warmer weather this weekend and maybe a chance to get busy in the garden.
