Happy sweet sixteen birthday Shae!!!
Today was a gorgeous, sunny, almost warm, day. When I wasn’t playing with seeds and soil, I was stepping outside to take in the gorgeous weather.
The geese started coming back today. I saw a few ducks too. More red-winged blackbirds and European starlings are visiting too. But the best was stepping out this evening, around 5 pm, and hearing the Robin sing it’s good night song. I sure missed it!

The indoor planting is coming along. I’ve finished sowing the 6-8 week seeds. I purchased a heating mat this year. Can’t wait to see how it works and if it will make a difference. For now I have it on the second shelf for a variety of seeds that like warmer weather/soil. I’ve also set up the grow light I bought last year, on the bottom shelf.

I’m also experimenting with late winter/early spring seeding. Can’t wait to see how they do.

And how about tonight’s sky? It’s clear, the stars are popping and the moon is getting bigger!

All good things! Happy growing.
