I was making my bed this morning, having a very loud internal conversation with myself – so loud Dukes could pickup on it. He was giving me strange looks and even meowed at me – which isn’t normal behaviour for him. I was thinking about something that needs thinking about, when I had a thought pop into my head. Kind of a different perspective to what I was gnawing on. Huh, that might work. I looked out the window and saw three crows on the front lawn. The ancestors were in town and validating my thought.
Later on, I was in the kitchen making tea when I had the thought again. I happened to look out the window and saw the three crows fly by landing in a nearby tree. Hmmmm. There might be something to this. I’m stewing on it for a bit longer before deciding for sure.
Completely different topic, one of the things I love most about being in my fifties… I can get away with wearing whatever I like and, somehow, it works. Like busy flowered top and yellow crocs. I actually got compliments on my appearance today. No more stressing over what to wear and if things look ok together. It’s about comfort and what makes me happy.
On another note, I’ve been putting off purchasing a larger keyboard – I really miss having the number key pad – and have been wanting to purchase a microphone for my computer. I have a great headset with mic but somedays, especially when I have a headache, I don’t want to wear them. So out of the blue this week, my nephew texts me a link to a microphone that is on sale. It’s a sweet microphone made by the same company as my headset and keyboard. While on the site, I find an extended keyboard, also on sale! They arrived today and I just got them set up before typing this. I love the feel of the keyboard. I haven’t tried the microphone yet but it looks pretty cool. The only thing with the keyboard is the RGB lights keep moving from left to right. If I don’t look at the keyboard it’s all good but…if I stop and look, it’s pretty captivating. I’m sure there’s a setting somewhere to turn it off. I’ll get on YouTube tomorrow and see what I can find out.
I’m all over the place with my blog tonight. That’s how my brain is feeling today. I took a walk around the yard today, checking out the snow and looking for places to put the new gardens. Won’t be long now and I will be digging!
Ok, that’s it for tonight. Time to shut my brain off for a while!
