Hump day

A pretty sight greeted me this morning, fresh snow.

Although I’m excited for Spring to come, the awkward phase between snow and spring flowers can be unsightly. Melting snow turns grey and dirty. So when a fresh blanket of the white stuff falls, covering the dirty stuff, it’s pretty sweet and looks awesome on the trees.

It was also welcome on my snowshoe trail. After the melting, the rain and frigid temperatures, the trail was slippy and a little tricky to snowshoe on. This snowfall has taken care of that!

And I’ll end tonight’s post with little red.
