What a gorgeous sticky snowfall! I couldn’t wait for my workday to be over so I could snowshoe in the new fallen snow!
Another nuthatch hit the window this morning. Not once but twice. I think he hit the patio door then headed for the kitchen window. I found him on the blue bin. I thought he was dead but as I got closer he moved. Relief sighed through me. I cradled him for several minutes, sending energy healing then he hopped off onto the blue bin. I left him to get the window decals and cover the windows with them. He stuck around for another ten minutes or so then flew off. As I was standing outside putting the decals up, a pileated woodpecker flew by making a lot of noise. Such a thrill to see it flying about.
No more hits in the back of the house today, but one in the front. Time to order more decals!
