I woke up early this morning. Early enough to see the sunrise and it was beautiful!
Getting into bed last night I noticed the moon – which I haven’t seen for awhile – so I braved the frigid temperatures, opened my window, and snapped a photo, grateful the entire time my phone didn’t slip out of my hand and fall into the huge pile of snow below the window!
I had a breakthrough in my work project this morning. I managed to get it done and submitted ahead of schedule. The relief I felt was giddy… I didn’t realize how much it was affecting me, weighing me down… until it was gone.
Even though I was preoccupied with the project, I did my best to keep my mind off of it by making soap. I’m happy to say yesterday’s batch is successful! My expert stain remover, also known as Mom (she can get a stain out of anything), gave it the seal of approval.
