Between you and me, I’m getting giddy about the new year. This is not a normal reaction for me but there’s just something about saying goodbye to 2020 and welcoming in 2021 that has me looking for a party hat.
Not that the pandemic is going to magically disappear at 00:01 January 1 – wouldn’t it be cool though if it did?!
Maybe it’s the hope of a new year, a blank slate, a new beginning. Although, come to think of it, we are gifted with this every day… every morning as the sun rises, we are given the gift of a new day, a blank slate, so really, there’s no need to wait for the new year…
