Today is also known as St Stephen’s Day.

I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a snowy yard. It was a cold one too with blustery winds.

The great thing about snow is it brings the birds to the feeders. I had five blue jays hanging around most of the day, along with lots of other regulars.

The morning sun provided a great light for taking pictures of the jays.
