Happy solstice!!!
An early start to the morning. We were having work done in our bathroom today so I wanted to be up and out of the way before the work started.
This summer, we found carpenter ants in the bathroom. They ate right through the wood…it was a real mess. Our contractor was busy with other jobs all Fall but managed to squeeze us in this week.
I worked in my room away from the busyness, keeping my hiding cats company. On my wishlist for our new house is at least one and a half baths. Having your only bathroom under construction is…
I was hoping to see Saturn and Jupiter this evening but mother nature had other plans. Maybe tomorrow. I’ll share a close-up of the photo I took Friday in Ottawa.
Only two days to go before I’m off work for the holidays.
I have so many creative ideas for my time off, I’m getting excited! But kind of bummed at the same time that we can’t get together with family. Oh Covid, there’s a lesson for the learning in your ways.
