27 days from today is… wait for it…

Tuesday, 24 November 2020

Twenty-seven days from today is the shortest day, also known as the Winter Solstice. Every day after the 21st of December, we will be gaining sunlight…a little each day. If that isn’t enough to bring a smile to your face, a spring to your step then what about this?

Oh my, I’m going to be that person and say it…ONE MONTH from today is Christmas Eve!!!!! Yes, one month. Get those lights on, turn up the Christmas music and let’s get festive! I have a sweet Christmas playlist on Spotify if you’re looking for something to play. It’s a little over 7 hours of my favourite Christmas songs. Enjoy!

Does anyone else do this for their fur babies? Give them prime seating to the main event every morning? I do like to spoil them and the birds and squirrels keep them entertained – and away from my work space – for hours.

Morning sunshine. Can’t beat this view every morning. ©WQuinn 2020
Goldfinch perched on a branch.
The sun shone one one small spot, which happened to be where this goldfinch was perched on the branch.
