It was a bit on the chilly and rainy side today so I opted to stay indoors and build my new IKEA desk.
I started with reading the instructions from start to finish, then laid out the pieces and tools, as well as the wood. Then it was a matter of following directions and, an hour and a half later, I have a completed desk. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what I had in mind. I was originally looking for something long and narrow. But, it’s together now so I’m going to give it a go and see how it works.
I had lots of bird visitors today. The sparrows were back today, on their way to wherever they winter. The bluejays were in force, using my new feeder too. The nicest visit though was by a pileated woodpecker!
