Bu-bye Ragweed!

That’s right! We had frost last night. Not sure it was enough to kill the ragweed…only time will tell, but it’s a great start!

The familiar drone of WW2 aircraft had me running outside, camera in hand. I scanned the sky, then something caught my eye – on the ground. My gaze left the sky and focused on a family of deer walking across the lawn – five deer! What a moment!

I caught sight of the planes, flying in formation, but they headed East away from my location. Hoping to catch them tomorrow as they do a fly by for the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The “air jumper” plane was quite active today. Must have been three different jumps that took place. I don’t usually see the parachutes until they have deployed, but, during the last run of the day, I was watching the plane through my camera and could see people jumping out of the plane. Actually, what I could see was a white dot, my camera lens is not that strong! Shortly after they jumped, parachutes were deployed and we could watch as they floated down to earth. Pretty cool! I took pics but the parachutes are so tiny it’s hard to see them.
