Gorgeous sunset with geese flying by in formation…Fall is near!

Thursday, 17 September 2020

The most gorgeous sunset is happening right now, as I type this. And it’s 7:44 pm. Fall is a-coming!

I worked inside today as it was much colder out. Although I still had my breakfast and lunch on the veranda, with a blanket wrapped around my legs. There’s a frost advisory for tonight. There’s a part of me that wants the frost so ragweed will be gone and seasonal allergies will be a thing of the past. But there’s another part of me that loves my flowers and would like another little while with them. Nah, I think I’m ready for fall-hardy flowers. Bring on the frost!

The geese are coming by the dozens. I’m distracted, watching them fly overhead, with the fading orange glow behind them. Oh, what a shot it would make!

My new Pixel 4a arrived yesterday. I upgraded for the extra storage space. I can’t say I’m wowed by it as it’s much smaller than my 3a xl. One good thing though is it fits better in my hand, so that’s something, and I do like the look of it. The camera is fantastic, which is why I switched to it from an iPhone. All of the photos I’m sharing on this post were taken with the 4a.

The first, fourth and fifth photos were taken in the morning sunlight. I love how warm the pictures feel!
