Another gorgeous sunny day

Saturday, 12 September 2020

Learning sign language is very similar to learning a new spoken language, yet may be easier as there is no grammer and many of the signs actually make sense.

The last half hour of class was spent in conversation. It was a challenge but, with practice, it will get better. Next week I will be required to tell a story about myself. I’m looking forward to learning the signs and telling a fun story.

It’s supposed to rain tomorrow so I spent time harvesting mint and chamomile from the gardens. While there I saw a Great spangled fritillary butterfly enjoying the echinacea.

Great spangled fritillary.

And then shortly afterwards, I saw a monarch butterfly! I took the photo with my phone and wasn’t able to zoom in so the picture is like trying to find Waldo. 😉🤷‍♀️

Six years ago today…I remember this day fondly!
