A cool, overcast day greeted me this morning as I stepped out to fill up the bird feeders. Afterwards, I sat on the veranda, sipping my tea, watching the birds, listening to their calls. A flock of starlings flew in, Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal dropped by for a visit, as did Mr. and Mrs. Belted Kingfisher. Chipmunk was pleased the feeders were full and this one is missing it’s hanger so it sits in a great spot for him to reach.
