I love Dean Brody’s music and his song, It’s Friday, is an anthem in our house.
Today was an extra special Friday because my Sister and her family came over dinner and a visit. We sat outside on the veranda, enjoyed a beautiful dinner with lots of laughs. Followed by a dice game under the patio lights. It’s been ages since we’ve gotten together here and enjoyed a summer night together. A happy and special night.

Today was also a fabulous day, weather wise. So much so I moved my “office” outside for a few hours this afternoon.
You sure can feel the change in the weather though since August arrived. Along with continuous song of the crickets and cicadas, the air is different. Maybe it’s the lack of humidity? I’m not sure but, as hot as the day gets, the nights get cool. My favourite time of the year!
