Can you believe we’re in the last full week of July? The dog days of summer are only a few days away.

I was happy to see the geese up visiting our backyard. They’ve grown so much and look like adults, it won’t be long before they start flying and that will be the last we’ll see of them up close. They will spend their days eating in the fields, returning to the river at noon and in the evening near sunset. Time sure does fly by!
