I’m sitting on the veranda, drinking herbal tea I harvested from my garden this evening.

The sun is going down. The traffic is getting lighter. The birds are singing their good night song.

It’s so beautiful and peaceful.
With the hot humid and rainy weekend we had, I didn’t get out to the garden until this evening. I was surprised at how well the chamomile is doing and I harvested quite a bit, along with some lemon balm. Most were set aside to dry but I left a few out for a tea of chamomile, lemon balm and spearmint, all freshly picked! Yum!

I love Queen Anne’s lace. The pattern that repeats and is so perfect. Nature is amazing!
