Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 🎉
This has got to be the strangest Canada Day… social distancing means no national celebration on the Hill, no fireworks. But we did have a virtual party which was kind of cool. One this afternoon and another one planned for this evening along with virtual fireworks… I’m really looking forward to that!
I miss the Snowbirds annual Canada Day flyby and hope they’re doing ok. It’s been a rough couple of months for them.
Today was a hot one. I worked outside transplanting flowers until it got too hot. Went for a swim in the river, read a book, had a BBQ dinner and will sit outside until the fireworks start at 10 pm, enjoying the frogs and the fireflies. Gotta love summer and chillaxing on Canada Day!
