It was a day filled with weather. We popped into town to pickup groceries and while waiting at Walmart, I stepped out of the car and it felt like I was in Florida – weather wise, that is. Florida in January or February. I loved it! There was a gentle breeze, the sun was warm but not hot. A perfect 23°C!
In the afternoon, the rains came down like a bucket of water being dumped. It was fabulous!
Tonight, long after the sun set, I stepped onto the veranda to soak up the beautiful summer night. The waxing crescent moon getting brighter each night was high in the sky with a star/planet at its’ side. Fireflies danced around the yard while the bullfrogs serenaded them. The softest, gentlest, warm breeze comforted me and the entire scene brought me happiness and comfort. Oh, how I love these summer nights!
