My sister’s 50th birthday celebration weekend is upon us. Thankfully Quebec cottage rentals are open again, as this one has been booked since the new year or before.
It’s a lovely spot right on the lake. There’s no traffic noise…that’s the first thing I noticed. I can hear the waves lap at the shore, the birds singing, the laughter of family members sharing a joke. It’s so pleasant, I may not want to leave!
