I woke up before 6 am this morning, well rested and apparently ready to start the day. I was a little confused because it seemed kind of early to be up, but, hey, why not.

If you like landscape or nature photography, the light during sunrise and sunset cannot be beaten. So it’s well worth the effort to get up before the sunrise, golden hour is pretty sweet, and stay up for the sunset.

The frozen raspberries looked so good this morning, I had to capture them. I placed the bowl in the sunlight so it would have that orange glow to it. They look good enough to eat!

Before COVID-19, frozen raspberries were easy to come by. Since the hibernation began in March, we haven’t been able to get any, until this week, that is! Happy dancing ❣️🎉.

The heatwave is still going strong. We reached 41°C with the humidity today. I can’t imagine what people are doing without air conditioning, especially with the malls, cinemas and libraries closed. I have AC and still find it quite uncomfortable when I’m outside for any period of time.

In the winter, when it’s really cold, I put a hot water bottle under my covers to heat up the sheets. Tonight I put ice packs under my covers and it’s just divine!
