A beautiful sunny day, albeit the wind is still quite cold. I sat on the veranda for breakfast, enjoying the sunshine. Spent a good time sitting in the sun all morning, actually, reading.

I did manage to spend a little time in my flower garden and took a picture of these cute yellow flowers so I could use Google lens to find out what they are.

They look alot like dandelions but are actually Coltsfoot. Interesting.

Even more interesting is the lack of photos I took today. A couple of weed photos to look up with Google lens and the piles of fill we’ve received.

I put a sign on the lawn a few days ago asking for clean fill. One guy showed up a few hours later with some topsoil and lots of cedar clippings. He came back the next day with more clippings. Yesterday, a dump truck drove in with a load of topsoil. Today, another dump truck dropped off two loads of topsoil. It boggles my mind. All of this for free. Who knew?!

  1. Coltsfoot! That actually sounds pretty adorable- like it belongs in some fairytale.
There are mushrooms called Pixie’s Parasol and Fairy’s Bonnet, I bet this flower belongs with them in the same fairytale!
