Rumour has it there’s a chance of frost overnight tonight…
I picked these beauties last night before the frost set in. I’ve been really missing fresh flowers in the house and am really enjoying this sweet bouquet!
We went for a walk across the concession this afternoon. I drove my car then parked off to the side. I like walking here because it’s so quiet…you can’t hear the highway traffic, only birds, and the wind in the trees. It’s so peaceful! There was a time I would walk here from home. It’s about 1.5 km. But there’s a very big gully at the 1km mark. I would push myself to walk the gully and be rewarded by this peaceful spot.
Downey and Hairy woodpeckers visited the veranda today.
