I’m glad the grackles are back, they’re such beautiful birds, although their eyes kind of creep me out.

And I love watching the goldfinch this time of year, they’re so yellow and looking like sunshine on this dreary morning! Thankfully the sun made an appearance this afternoon. But the forecast for May is looking bleak, thanks to a polar vortex. Look like below average temperatures until the long weekend in May. 😮 -1°C overnight…yikes! Hang in there garlic…summer’s coming!
