Wednesday, 22 April 2020 – Happy Earth Day!
I saw a funny post on Facebook, or maybe Instagram…No, it could have been Twitter…I guess it doesn’t really matter does it? Back to the funny post. God and Mother Nature were having a conversation. God mentioned how the people weren’t getting it, they weren’t staying home. Mother nature says to God: hold my beer, which is followed by a snow storm image.
We’ve been getting a lot of that lately. Crazy cold weather. The wind was blowing so hard last night I didn’t know if anything would be standing this morning. Thankfully everything was still standing and we had another dusting of snow…Mother nature is so good to us! At least blue skies were prevalent all day…It took the sting out of the -13°C windchill.
The morning was quiet while I waited for the grocery delivery to arrive, sometime between 8 am and 1 pm. I made a fresh batch of suet for the woodpeckers. Woody seemed happy to have it.
