Easter Sunday, 12 April 2020
Definitely one for the history books. Mom and I enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner with all of the trimmings, accompanied by our family on Google Hangouts.
Sure missed having everyone here in person. Part of the experience of family holiday dinners is how everyone pitches in and contributes in their own way.
But, as much as we missed them, we are so grateful that they are healthy and coping well in these uncertain times. And we know that being away from each other now will make our reunion so very special.
We have our faith, which seems to be stronger and unwavering in times of strife. And although it’s evolved over the years, I believe it’s brought us closer to God and home.
