It’s been a week since we’ve been socially distancing. Doesn’t feel unusual yet as I tend to be a homebody. I’m fortunate to be able to continue working and have several projects on the go to keep me busy.
I’m enjoying the online music concerts throughout the day, like Sean McCann from Great Big Sea every day at noon and Alan Doyle, also from Great Big Sea, at 5 pm.
Movies and TV are wearing thin though. I feel a project coming on… It’s still percolating though.

Today was day two of my bird count day. Oh, good news, they are extending the feeder watch project into April to give us something to do during our self isolation/physical distancing period. It will be fun to see what birds will be showing up in April that we don’t have during the winter.
Saw my first Robin today. I heard one last week but didn’t lay eyes on it. Lots of black birds around these days. Oh, and I saw three hairy woodpeckers! Usually only see one so that was cool!

I went for a walk this evening, around the yard, enjoying the snow and fresh air. I stopped and looked over my shoulder to find I was being followed…by wild turkeys!
