What a quiet, somber St. Paddy’s day in the Quinn house this year! Although, to be completely honest, I don’t believe I would have been out celebrating, even if the pubs were open. At least not the way I did in my early twenties! Oh, those were the days…
I was quite surprised, pleasantly that is, to wake up to a winter wonderland outside my window this morning!

A little over 4 inches fell before turning into rain and then, before long, most of it was gone…like it never existed in the first place. We are living in some strange times.
I was feeling a little stir crazy today…like I needed to get out and do something. Funny thing is, I normally telework three days a week and rarely go out during the week…I guess it’s just the idea that we’re being asked to social distant ourselves that makes me want to go out. I’m running low on cat food and will need to contact the vet to see if they’re even open? Hoping they are as this is the only place to get their food!
Little Red has been entertaining Dukes. This afternoon, Dukes sat under the feeder where Little Red was eating, and gazed up at him for some time before I took pity on the little squirrel and called Dukes in. Seconds after he was in the door, Little Red jumped out of the feeder and ran straight for the bird bath to drink!

Wow! How pretty 🙂 And a very cute kitty too.
