Someone has died and gone to Heaven…

I’ve been reconnecting with my intuitive spiritual side lately…getting back into the swing of things thanks to Thank and Grow Rich by Pam Grout. (I loved E-squared and E-cubed too btw!)

Sometimes on this crazy journey we need to take a step back to reset, refocus, take stock of where we are, how we got here and where we want to go next. That’s where I’ve been…in a holding pattern. The hold is lifting and I’m just now getting ready to move forward. I’ve been taking baby steps…starting with remembering to connect to the energy around me, to notice the signs around me.

It’s amazing how often spirit sends us messages that we are not alone, that we are loved and that we’re on the right path.

Dimes are one way for spirit, and deceased loved ones to communicate…so is a large display of O’Keefe beer!

You see, O’Keefe beer was my dad’s brand. O’Keefe beer and Craven A cigarettes.

Some days I don’t actively look for signs. Today was such a day. Yet they showed up anyway and made me take notice. Like the two Ravens in my backyard this morning who only left when I had the thought… Oh, this is a sign from so and so. Or that feeling I get when I need to pay attention to something I just heard… Like in a movie, the words just spoken are significant somehow.

Turning the corner in my local grocery store and seeing a large display of O’Keefe made me shake my head at my dad’s sense of humour but also appreciate the level he goes to to show me he’s still here with me.

Now for my painting…seems anticlimactic after the signs but hey, it is what it is.
