How do you follow the perfect January Sunday? With a pretty decent Monday teleworking!

Today was day two of my weekly bird count day. It was a quiet day at the feeders. Was happy to see some birds enjoying my new feeder.

My brother made this for me. It’s the sweetest platform feeder I’ve seen. At one point yesterday, the platform was full of golden finch. But they would fly away whenever the camera came out. I managed to get a photo today with two enjoying it!

This morning, the sun kissed the Eardley escarpment in just the right spot, highlighting the new fallen snow. It looked magical!

My niece Shaeleen is visiting this week. I couldn’t decide what to paint tonight so asked for suggestions. She suggested a sunset with mountains and Ireland. This was the best I could do.

Fiery sunset with mountains and water.
