The yard was quiet this cold frosty morning as I walked from feeder to feeder, filling them with fresh seeds. Once I stepped back into the house, the backyard came alive! Birds everywhere. Blue jay was the first to arrive, followed by his buddy. Then the golden finch, a downey woodpecker, juncos, chickadees, cardinal, turkeys and squirrels.
Then came the snow…
