365…363

Sunday, 29 December 2019

It was an overcast, damp day. Definitely could feel a storm on the way.

I filled up th bird feeders first thing this morning – today is bird count day and with a storm on the way, it was bound to get busy at the feeders.

Funny enough, I didn’t stick around long enough to see them. Mom was bored – something that doesn’t often happen – so I asked if she wanted to go into town with me to pick up some bird seed. She said yes, which led to a day in Gatineau visiting many stores, shopping and browsing. Plus brunch at Cora’s.

I finally made it to breakfast/brunch at Cora’s. People have been trying to get me there for years. Now, the food was ok, nothing special. The fruit was delicious. The service was awful. Don’t believe I’ll go back.

Now, today’s painting and photo. Both were done late tonight.

The photo is of our Gerbera daisy. This plant amazes me and is so beautiful!

The painting is inspired by last night’s setting moon and Venus.
