A rainy day and night makes for a dark Halloween. 🎃👻
Went for dinner after work and a little shopping afterwards. Kept forgetting it was Halloween and the little ones were trick or treating. Hardly anyone in the stores, which was a real bonus!
Tonight’s photo is of the flower bouquet I bought for our Thanksgiving dinner.
Today’s painting;
I rarely know how a painting will turn out and am usually pleasantly surprised. Sometimes I don’t like it, sometimes I do. Other times, few and far between, I’m thrilled. But I’m always in awe of the process and happy little mistakes that make the painting. I struggled with this one. That’s the thing with watercolour…there’s only so much you can do before the paper buckles or tears. I was close to throwing it out but stuck with it and am happy I did.
So long October…it’s been real. Bring on November!
