A simply gorgeous day in the Outaouais today. Sunshine, warmish, colourful trees popping.
For today’s photo, I was driving home on the back roads when I had to stop because the Birch trees were stunning and I wanted to capture them so I could paint them sometime.

This morning I was driving to Walmart to pickup my grocery order…love online grocery shopping by the way…when the sleeping giant on the Eardly escarpment caught my eye. It’s dotted with orange, yellow, green and red leaves. So beautiful but I was on the highway 50 with no way to pull over and capture it. So I decided to give it a go with my water paints.
