I woke up to a wall of white. Turned over and slept another hour! Despite being overcast with rain forecasted for the entire day, it was quite nice and warm out.
Had a productive day today but as the night drew nigh, I wished I could hit reset on the whole weekend, or maybe add a day or two onto it. Luckily next weekend is a long weekend and my vacation is coming up in November. So, deep breath in….and out. All is good!
One of the tasks on my “to-do before snow flies” list was make a platform bird feeder. I found an old post under the veranda, a perfect sized board for the platform, a couple of nails and voila!
It took blue jay 20 minutes to visit and he seems to be saying…
…all this…

…for me?

Lots of geese were flying in and out all day. I captured this flock which seems to be quite disorganized!
