October came in in a big way, thunder, lightening, rain and fog. What a great fall day. Got to love it. I know the ducks and geese do but the turkeys, not so much. The water doesn’t flow off their back the way it does for the geese.
I remember one rainy day this summer, the geese were in the backyard eating whatever they eat…grass, bugs??? Completely oblivious to the rain. The turkey on the other hand had to stand under a tree, waiting for the rain to pass before enjoying his lunch.
The fog was quite picturesque, especially since I didn’t have to drive in it! The field across the road from my house was a wall of white:

As I was taking pics of the fog, a Canadian Goose flew by…a cool sight!

My mom and I were on the phone with my telecom/internet/tv provider and I was getting frustrated. I had my paints in front of me, debating what to paint when I just started painting, letting go. I found this exercise a much more positive way to deal with my emotions than eating! Nothing was resolved but I got a painting done.
