Tonight was Apple baking night with my nephews and sister-in-law. They picked a bushel or two of apples from their yard this week so it’s time to bake! Two pies, a dozen apple cinnamon muffins and lots of applesauce!

While slicing the apples, my sister-in-law had two apples that had interesting cutouts in their centres.
