A lovely rainy cloudy and coolish day! I love the cooler weather.
Today started off slow, spending time on the veranda with a tea, watching the birds and turkey. Then I filled the bird feeders and took pics of the garden and this slug who was eating an orange slice.

Next on my list was to declutter my bedroom and change it around. As I was moving my bed (which is a challenge as my room is small and there’s not much room to spare as you’re swinging it around!) the carpet lifted…quite a bit. Now it’s an old carpet that’s seen better days and I’ve been toying with taking it out and getting an area carpet. So… perfect opportunity!
I like the end result, although it echoes a little, it will be great!
Tonight’s painting was a challenge as I’m pooped from moving heavy furniture around but, if nothing else, I’m committed to this project.
