What a lovely day. I’m enjoying the cooler weather, especially humidity free!
I finally finished my turtle painting. It’s an acrylic I started in early spring for my niece’s birthday…which was at the end of June. I’ve been procrastinating but, today was the day!

Im really happy with how it turned out!
So, for the painting of the day, I painted a sunset reflection…looks like a fall scene…on a greeting card and used it as a b’day card for my niece.

Tonight’s photo is the beloved Chateau Laurier in downtown Ottawa, bathed in the warm glow of tonight’s setting sun.

I was at the fireworks finale at the Bytown museum beside the locks. What a fantastic location to watch. I had my camera set up on a tripod and took lots of photos. Fingers crossed some turned out!
It’s after midnight so heading off for some sleep…zzzzzz
