FriYAY!

I haven’t taken allergy medicine for two days and am feeling it today…ah choo… sniff sniff…ah choo… I’m tired on it, tired off it. Might as well take it and stop sneezing.

I didn’t get outside to take a photo during the day and almost, almost, gave in a used a photo from yesterday. But then I glanced outside and saw a new sunflower had opened up to the world and I just had to go take its picture and say welcome. Happy I did because I saw another sunflower that opened up today too…this one, the photo of the day, was planted by sunflower seeds dropped by th birds.

While in the garden taking sunflower pictures, I must have brushed up against the mint because suddenly the aroma of mint was in the air. I looked down and noticed the chamomile and I thought how nice it would be to have a chamomile and mint tea while I painted the painting of the day. And it was the best cup I’ve ever had!

I was in the mood for a sweet and gentle painting and I believe I achieved it with these soft coloured roses. And the leaves…the best I’ve done yet!
