A beautiful, sunny warm day with a couple of showers, much needed in the gardens!
A busy work day, teleworking. A little sluggish from yesterday’s migraine, I was going to spend my lunch hour inside napping, when I got the nudge to get outside. I followed the guidance and as I stepped onto the veranda, across the river, in the bay, I saw a deer and her fawn! What a beautiful sight!
I brought my lunch – and camera – to the butterfly-bee garden, intending to sit and enjoy the moment when I noticed the thistle had finally bloomed. Walking over to admire it, I noticed bumblebees enjoying the thistle nectar and then noticed the hummingbird moth also enjoying it. What a perfect moment, camera in hand, lunch long forgotten, I got caught up in the moment in the garden. It was heavenly and very much needed.
