Yay! Happy Friday!
Another lovely summer day. I teleworked today and enjoyed every second of it, especially the short break, gazing at the insects flying around my flower garden, warm breeze brushing my hair away from my face, morning sun dancing on my cheek. The smells of August, a warm sunny summer morning. The peace, the calm, the soul rejuvenation of a stolen moment in nature gave me the energy I needed to continue with edits to my client’s project. It gave me enough energy to work until early afternoon, breaking at 1:30 for a brief lunch and back at it.
I get like that when I’m in the zone, on a roll and I prefer to get it done than take time for lunch or breaks.
Afterwards, I was in need of energy again. My flower garden provided it once again. This time I took my camera. The sun was at an angle, beginning it’s nightly descent. Lighting was good, flowers looked amazing. So happy to see the hollyhock blooming. The first bloom which is the theme for today’s painting and photo.

Sim, thank you so much for your kind comments. Congratulations on starting your blog! I believe our world needs more beautiful people to share their beautiful words and I look forward to reading yours!
I think once you follow a fellow blogger, you automatically get notified when new content is added. I use the app (for Android) and there’s a button on the bottom of the screen that looks like a newspaper. Hope this helps?!
